Quasi full circle
I always had a blog, since 2003.
Like everything in tech, personal publishing changed a lot, but never seemed to get better. I’m not a technostalgic but I miss RSS, trackbacks, blogrolls. I remember Pyra Labs, Blogger, Moveable Type, Typepad, Vox, Blogsmith, Wordpress and…😩 Tumblr.
Then came Medium, which never felt like a blog, but seemed OK for publishing some technical projects I did for fun. Now with the recent launch of the Medium profile pages I’m going to try to go old-school blogging again.
Oh, there’s RSS for the diehards.
